An integrated approach to build a equitable and empowered society
OUR VISION
Our vision is to support, guide, inspire, motivate, educate, and empower women, adolescents, families in Andhra Pradesh.
OUR MISSION
We enable local communities to believe in their own abilities to bring about change by providing them access to basic knowledge, nutrition, and education to live a healthy successful life and strive for a better society.
The tribal communities were the original inhabitants of the dispossessed land who were forced to retire deep into the hinterlands from their holdings and try to survive the raids of invaders. Gradually the forests were encroached upon by present-day settlers and these original communities were dislodged from their precarious hold on forest land.
We reach marginalized and socially excluded women with interventions in nutrition, health, and livelihoods. The program empowers women through innovative community practices, empowers them to access health and bring about sustainable changes in the community, while also supporting them to become knowledgeable, skilled and financially independent. We actively work to create a gender-equal society, actively engaging men and boys to participate in the process of women's empowerment.
We have organized various farmers' awareness programs in different villages of Atmakuru Mandal. We educated them about organic farming. We inspired them to make vermicomposting. We warn them about the dangers of excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. We encourage them to make proper use of government incentives and extension services of the Department of Agriculture. The organization has undertaken this activity to create awareness about rain water harvesting. This activity will create awareness about rain water harvesting. In this region of drought, rain water and tube wells are important. Atmakur and Pamulapadu, Kottapalli Mandal saving and water saving ways were explained.
It is the small change that makes the biggest impact.
